Dang! That looks like fun! I have to try that someday.

But with no chicks, whose going to fetch you a beer, or a chicken-pot pie when you need one?

Please dont forward this comment to my wife 😉

Vic, just wondering, what is the average trail length in Hartland?

@Misha – I don’t have a length for you as I don’t ride with a bike computer or GPS. Our typical rides there are 2-3hrs long and we only ride a small portion of the trails. They tend to be slower and more technical than other places I have ridden so less distance equals more riding time.

@Misha – here are some GPS tracks from Hartland. I don’t see a scale, but it’s a Google Maps product so maybe I am just missing a away to show distances.

Thanks, Vik, that’s the info i was looking for. There is an idea of building few trails in the future, so I am looking for stats and what other trails may look like. Trailforks seems like a good database. I know of singletracks.com and mtbr.com trailbuilding space, but the more i find the better. There are not so many dedicated trails here, definitely there is a long way to get at the North American level. Hartland looks interesting, I wouldn’t discover it if not your posts.

I figured if you go to a trail description there is a “View large map on Google maps” link. Scale bar is there.

Hi. What is the pack that is attached to the downtube on the Normad? That’s really cool and I want something like that too. Thanks!

@Ethan – it’s a custom tool bag Scott from Porcelain Rocket made for me.
