Ya know… I kinda miss setting up a good set of canti brakes. Bad sets were a PITA though. Best ones I had were the Onza H.O. brakes, kinda similar to the Paul’s cantis today, could easily adjust angle and rotation seperately. Seems like some general maintenance knowledge was lost when linear pulls (v-brake) were introduced.

That particular issue of BQ was really interesting. This section on canti brake adjustment was quite useful, but the other articles on the history of bicycle braking systems were quite interesting too.
